Neptune City Sevens Organising Committee
David Powell
David has been involved with the City Sevens since 2003. His previous rugby honours include Old Pauline’s First XV, Surrey XV although his boots now occupy a forgotten corner of the cupboard under the stairs.
It will be David’s voice you’ll hear over the tannoy at the event although we will be wrestling it off him when it comes to commentating on the final.
Ben May
Ben has been heavily involved with the City Sevens both as a player and an organiser. Having been a member of numerous PwC winning teams he’s now poacher turned gamekeeper and works with David to ensure that the best team wins...usually PwC!
Keith Sheppard
Keith is the founder of the City Sevens and without his unstinting commitment and enthusiasm the event wouldn’t be what it is today. Keith has more recently taken a step back from the day-to-day organisational activities for the City Sevens and now holds a Life President / Strategic Advisor role. If he manages to secure a day release pass from his lovely wife, Margreta, it’s entirely possible that he may make a return to commentating. You have been warned...
The Child Bereavement Charity
The Child Bereavement Charity (CBC) provides specialised support, information and training to all those affected when a baby or child dies, or when a child is bereaved. By learning continuously from children and parents, CBC leads the way in improving the quality of care offered by professionals to such families, both in the immediate crisis and in the time following the death of someone important in their lives.

The Referees
Our referees have been provided by the London Society of Rugby Football Union Referees. Without them the tournament could not go ahead and we are immensely grateful to them for giving up a Sunday at the end of a tiring season to be with us.
