The Neptune City Sevens is a Rugby Sevens tournament for firms associated with the City of London. It's a great day out whilst raising money for an exceptionally good cause, the Child Bereavement Charity.

On the day

"I am very happy to be supporting the Neptune City Sevens this year in aid of the Child Bereavement Charity. I am sure the event will provide a great opportunity to mix both fast paced business and rugby, all in support of a superb cause and I urge everyone to give generously to the charity as well as giving their all on the pitch!!"

Richard Hill MBE, Saracens, England and the British and Irish Lions.

Guest commentators

During the afternoon ex-British and Irish Lions player Rob Henderson will be taking a turn on the microphone to commentate on the games on the main pitch. Rob is sure to provide amazing insights into the action and we will have a team of lawyers ready to refute any accusations of slander...!

REFRESHMENTS

A long day of sport can mean only one thing – a very hungry crowd! Luckily there will be an abundance of food available, with a hog roast dutifully sizzling on the spit. And for those of you more partial to the BBQ, homemade burgers, sausages, chicken kebabs, vegetarian quiche and a selection of salads will be on offer as well. In the unfortunate event of unfavourable weather, the canteen will be opened for use. The bar will be open from 11am till late.

SPORTS MASSAGE

For those of you who may have aches and pains which need to be soothed away, we are pleased to offer our low-tech 'Spa in the Grandstand'. With students from the North London School of Sports Massage offering massages at very reasonable rates (free to tournament participants in dirty rugby kit!), please feel free to drop in. Entry to the physios' room is via the entrance on the eastern side of the main grandstand (the side furthest away from Pitch B).

FOR OUR YOUNGER GUESTS

The Neptune City Sevens is a great day out for everyone, not just the players. There will be a bouncy castle, a face painter and a street entertainer, located near the Child Bereavement Charity marquee for our younger guests.

TEAM PHOTOS

We will be taking photos of all the teams entered in the tournament before the first match kick-off, so once you have registered, please pop over to the Meeting Point for your team photo.
